Object description
According to the Ukrainian-language inscription in simple pencil under a similar photograph (but the image is mirrored): "Plafond and partition wall for a hairdressing salon in Nalchyk". At the top is the inscription "D.3.07–77/ Nik. Vs. Bardiukov". While the plafond is decorated with geometric elements, the partition wall is decorated with floral motifs typical of Antonina Ivanova's paintings, which are inherent in folk art. This suggests that she was the author. As for the dating, the painting was likely executed in the early 1930s.
