Object description
The title, place and time of the photograph, as well as the persons depicted, are given in accordance with the russian-language caption on the back of the photograph, written in blue ink. The photo shows an educational process in Mykhailo Boichuk's studio (drawing a sitting nude model) and depicts the students who studied under Mykhailo Boichuk. The horizontal composition of the photograph is a static staging with elements of representation and narration. Concerning the authenticity of the signatures, it is necessary to conduct additional expert research on a number of the subjects, including the person identified as Serhii Kolos.

A group portrait of students of the monumental painting class at the Kyiv Art Academy, 1918. In the photo (according to the russian-language inscription on the back, made in blue ink) from left to right: Robert Lisovskyi, an unidentified model, Serhii Kolos, Antonina Ivanova, Taisiia Tsymlova, Mariia Tubetska, and Tymofii Boichuk.
