Object description
According to the russian-language inscription made in simple pencil under the photo, this image is a photographic record of 11 August 1911 without any information about the place or the persons depicted. The photograph shows a room made of wooden planks, with two women and two men sitting on two wall benches. Another woman is sitting on the floor in front of them (wearing a rather peculiar, original dress). Although the men are wearing military caps, they are not wearing cockades, and their shoes are civilian, suggesting that this is similar to the everyday practice of the Kuban Cossacks, where non-military people wore paramilitary clothing without insignia.
People depicted
The photo shows two unidentified men in militarised clothing and three women, one of whom is probably Antonina Ivanova (wearing a headdress).
