Below the photo is an inscription in Ukrainian, written in simple pencil: "Ivanova A.M. '30 years of October'. Headscarf". The work itself confirms the inscription: in the centre, there is a circle with a red five-pointed star and the inscription "XXX October". Accordingly, the painting on silk (?) dates from either 1947 or 1946. Numerous figures in various national costumes and dense floral ornamentation complete the composition. However, the poor quality of the photograph makes it almost impossible to identify the figures and patterns. Given that old brickwork (about 20 bricks high) is visible near the piece, we can assume that the length of one side of the square is about 1.5 metres.
