Object description
The main facade of the unrealised church in the village of Shumiach is shown. Vasyl Slobodian states that the project was completed in 1927. The seal with the number 1188 and the Secessionist style of the drawing indicate that the project was probably drawn before the First World War. It is a wooden church with three naves, octagonal domes, and hipped roofs. Small octagonal turrets crown the two faceted sacristies. In addition to the main entrance from the west to the babynets, the church has two other entrances from the side facades to the nave (Lev Kh., Slobodian V., Filevych N. 100 Churches of the Nahirnyi family. Part Two: Churches of Yevhen Nahirnyi. Lviv, 2015. P. 128).
