Object description
The side facade of the church project for the village of Avhustivka, probably in the Ternopil region. It was completed in September 1933 and is similar to the church's design for the Radokhyntsi village, designed at the same time by Yevhen Nahirnyi. It is a single-domed basilica with a prominent transept and three semicircular apses. The two projects differ in size and decoration: the church in Avhustivka is slightly smaller, it has triangular pediments instead of curved ones, and the dome over the crossing is bell-shaped on a cylindrical tholobate instead of hemispherical on an octagon. The project was never realised.
Inscriptions
There is an inscription in pencil in the upper right corner: "Avhustivka".
