Object description

The drawing is a longitudinal section of an unrealised church project for the village of Humenets. It is a cruciform building with a rectangular transept and apse. There are symmetrically arranged sacristies and chapels on both sides of the transept. The babynets is surrounded by an arcade. Above the transept there is a hemispherical vault covered with a pavilion roof (Lev Kh., Slobodian V., Filevych N. 100 Churches of the Nahirnyi family. Part Two: Churches of Yevhen Nahirnyi. Lviv, 2015. P. 125).

Upper left is an ink inscription: "Project of the church in Humenets"; lower left: "Lviv September 1927"; lower right: "Scale 1:100 arch / signature / Yevhen Nahirnyi".
