Object description
This is a sketch (a main facade) of a large brick church combining Byzantine and Baroque influences. The building has a complex plan based on a square with three faceted apses and an attached narthex. It is surrounded by an arcade to the west. An arcade also surrounds the central apse. Nine domes of different heights crown the church. It is unknown if this sketch was used as the basis for a project to build the church or if the idea was ever realised.
