Object description
The drawing is a perspective view of the first design of the church developed by Yevhen Nahirnyi for Stebnyk in 1920. It is a cross-shaped building with three domes, like traditional Boiko churches, with Art Deco twisted gables, arcades, and turrets. The project was never realised. In the 1930s, the church in Stebnyk was built according to a different, simplified design (Lev Kh., Slobodian V., Filevych N. 100 Churches of the Nahirnyi family. Part Two: Churches of Yevhen Nahirnyi. Lviv, 2015. P. 97).
