Object description
The main facade depicts the brick church of St. Michael the Archangel in Komarno, built in 1908–1910 to a design by Vasyl Nahirnyi. The monumental three-nave building with a transept and a semicircular apse has a cupola over the crossing and two towers on the main facade, all covered with hemispherical domes. It is designed in the French neoclassical style with the Doric order. This drawing is probably a copy that Yevhen made of his father's design (Lev Kh., Slobodian V., Filevych N. 100 Churches of the Nahirnyi family. Part Two: Churches of Yevhen Nahirnyi. Lviv, 2015. P. 115).
