According to the inscription on the reverse of the photograph (the russian-language writing in purple ballpoint pen, "Ivanova A. M. Decorative panel for the exhibition in Paris") and the information about this decorative painting by Antonina Ivanova in the Moscow Export and Handicrafts Office, this work was exhibited at the International Exhibition of Modern Arts and Crafts (Paris, Third French Republic) in 1925 and received an honorary diploma (for details see Liste des récompenses / Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes, Paris 1925. – P. 62 // https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bpt6k3154628/f95.item). As for the style of the work, it is characterised by oriental and occidental intentions, which is typical of Antonina Ivanova's practice in the 1920s (we can see the same in the artist's painting "Copy of a Chinese Engraving", 1926, as well as in a series of graphic sketches kept in the Gallery's collection). Given the nature of the photographic print, the photograph was taken either before the work was sent for exhibition or after its return, and could therefore date from the mid–1920s.
