Object description
The Church of St. Andrew the First-Called on Varshavska Street in Lviv, which until 1931 belonged to the separate village of Klepariv. The church was designed by architect Serhii Tymoshenko (1881–1950), and Yevhen Nahirnyi finalised his plan and carried out the construction, which was completed in 1931. It is a centrally planned building with a large dome over the central crossing (octagon on cube), decorated in the Art Deco style (Lev Kh., Slobodian V., Filevych N. 100 Churches of the Nahirnyi family. Part Two: Churches of Yevhen Nahirnyi. Lviv, 2015. P. 126).
